Bio
I am a contemporary artist based in Bucharest. I began painting out of a persistent urge to express myself visually, inspired early on by Picasso’s ability to transform emotion and form beyond realism.
Before studying at the University of Arts and Design in Bucharest (2010–2013), I was drawn to Humanities and Foreign Languages, yet art was always a quiet, faithful presence in my life. In my early years, I explored psycho-cubist portraits and abstract compositions, experimenting with oil, acrylic, watercolor and pastels while gradually discovering a way of painting that felt true to my inner world.
My work has been collected internationally since 2008. I have exhibited mainly in local group shows and charitable events, as well as through private viewings abroad and international virtual exhibitions.
Since 2020, painting has taken a more central place in my life, leading me to develop cohesive series such as "Escapes into the Vivid", "Evenings in the Mythical Forest" and my psycho-cubist portraits, all centered on emotion, nature, identity and the expressive power of color and form.
